Inline Plastics launches new snack cups

FBR Staff Writer Published 21 February 2012

Inline Plastics has launched a new grab-and-go 12oz snack cups under its Safe-T-Fresh line. According to the company, the new cups are designed to lock in freshness and extend shelf life.

The new clamshell containers are designed to fit most automobile cup holders and are suitable for convenience stores, supermarkets, and delis. The containers can be used for fresh-cut fruits and vegetables, bakery items, yogurt, parfait, and a variety of snack goods.

The containers feature perimeter seal closure, which provide increased product shelf life, improved leak resistance, and better protection of contents. They incorporate an exclusive patented tear-strip hinge, which eliminates the need for shrink-bands or wrap-around labels to prevent product tampering.

The tamper-resistant containers, which are available with either flat or dome lids, are manufactured from 100% recyclable PET.

Inline Plastics, based in Shelton, Connecticut, is a manufacturer of crystal clear PET clamshell and two-piece packaging for food products.
